We have formed a strategic partnership with Symbiosis International University collaborating on a wide range of projects and activities in India, the UK and Dubai.
Symbiosis International is the second highest ranked private university in India in the 2025 QS World University rankings.
Partnering with Symbiosis International University (SIU), we provide pathways for current SIU students to progress onto undergraduate or postgraduate degrees here at Aston University, Birmingham, UK.

If you are an Undergraduate student at any of the SIU campuses in India or Dubai, and wish to start your Postgraduate (Master) journey at Aston University in any discipline, you may apply to any of our Masters programmes via our partnership following the instructions below.
We have a range of Postgraduate courses available. Most programmes would need a UK 2:2 equivalent grade at the Undergraduate Level. The UK eligibility for each programme can be found on the respective course pages. The Country grade equivalencies can be found on the respective country pages.

When submitting your application please select code SYMBI-INDIA to ensure your application is correctly processed.
1. School Standard Xth and XIIth or GCE and A-Level equivalent mark sheets/transcripts
2. College/University semester-wise marksheets/transcripts reflecting all modules with corresponding grades
3. University degree certificate (Provisional Degree certificates are accepted only until 2 years after graduating) OR a Letter of Completion if you have recently completed your studies and are still awaiting your degree certificate.
4. Passport
5. Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose (600 words only)
6. 1 Letter of Recommendation for Postgraduate applications (excluding MBA and MSc Supply Chain Management which requires 2 Letters of Recommendation)
7. CV (if available)
8. If you have a Master's Degree, a 200-word statement telling us why you want to study a second master level programme
9. Any certificates or approvals needed from professional bodies (if your programme asks for it, e.g. for programmes such as MSc Mechanical Engineering, MSc OSPAP, MSc Health Psychology, etc)
10. Any other document that the admissions team might request at the time of assessment of the submitted application

You may apply to study at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune and at Aston University, to receive dual degrees. Students will receive a MBA degree from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and a degree in MSc Finance from Aston University at the end of the 2 years.

You may apply to study at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune and at Aston University, to receive dual degrees. Students will receive a MSc Biotechnology degree from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and will have the option to choose ONE between MSc Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine and MRes Biosciences from Aston University. Students will be awarded both degrees at the end of 2 Years.

If you are a student on the BBA (Hons)/Honors by Research programme at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Viman Nagar, Pune and at Aston University, to complete an Undergraduate as well as a Postgraduate qualification in 4.5 Years instead of 5 Years. Students will receive a BBA (Hons.) or BBA (Hons.) by Research degree from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and a degree in MSc in Management from Aston University at the end of the 4.5 years, saving students 6 months on their total duration of study.
Students will start at Symbiosis International (Deemed) University on the BBA (Hons.) programme in June, and will have the option to join Aston University 3.5 Years later on the MSc in Management in January, which they will complete in 1 Year.
Students will need to score an equivalent of a UK 2:2 grade by the end of Year 3 of their BBA qualification at SIU to be eligible for this pathway. Equivalencies and eligibility can be found in the 'Postgraduate Direct Entry' section above.

We offer an innovative Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Dual Degree for students to graduate with two qualifications - one from Symbiosis International University, Dubai and another from Aston University, UK, enhancing student’s global credentials and career prospects.
You may apply to study at Symbiosis International University, Dubai for 2 Years followed by 2 Years at Aston University. Students will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Symbiosis International University, Dubai and a degree in BSc Business and Management from Aston University at the end of the programme.
