Your Welcome Days are designed to help you settle into life at Aston University London and feel confident before your studies begin. This is your opportunity to meet people, explore your surroundings, and get a clear understanding of what to expect from your course.
We strongly encourage you to attend and make the most of this experience.
During Welcome Days, you will:
Meet your tutors and classmates and start building your network
Take part in interactive sessions and icebreakers to help you feel at home
Learn more about your course structure and expectations
Get familiar with key services, including Digital Services, the Library, Careers and Student Support
Receive guidance on living and studying in London, including practical advice and community support
Explore the campus and local area through guided tours
You will also have the chance to take part in a range of social activities, designed to help you connect with other students in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Campus and local area tours
Interactive workshops and support sessions
Social activities and group experiences, including an off-campus activity in London.
You’ll be welcomed by Aston staff and take part in sessions tailored to your programme pathway: Business, Digital Technologies. Expect to:
You’ll also meet teams covering academic support, library and digital learning, student services, and visa and engagement compliance. Plus, representatives from the Aston Students’ Union will show you how to get involved in student life and activities.
It’s not all work - there will be lunch and social activities where you can relax, meet other students, and start building your network at Aston London. These sessions are a great way to feel part of the Aston community from day one.

Welcome Day is an important first step in your Aston University journey. Attend ready to learn, ask questions, and start your studies feeling confident, prepared, and part of the Aston University London community.
