Our Start programme will help you understand what’s feasible, viable and desirable in the marketplace. You’ll develop the skills you need to capitalise on innovation and finish with the tools and connections for attracting investment and starting up.

Our Start programme offers opportunities for Aston students, graduates and staff who want to start a business.
What we offer
We’ve got a range of tailored programmes that can help you get your business idea noticed:
- BSEEN – Launch and grow your business through our award-winning 12-month programme which has supported almost 900 start-ups through intensive bootcamps, free hot desking, business mentoring and much more.
- Apollo – Test your ideas and join interactive workshops led by entrepreneurs on everything from how to get funding to crafting a winning pitch on our four week programme.
- Idea Launchpad – Pitch your idea for a chance to win funding at our annual Dragon’s Den style competition.
- Funding opportunities – Access funding support for high-potential start-ups.
- Female Founders Programme – In partnership with our regional partners, join our five-week course for female leaders and pitch your idea for a chance to win a share of £4,000.
