Sports and Recreational Facilities

Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre is home to a fully functional gym, multiple studios and courts alongside Birmingham’s oldest, but most stunning operational swimming pool.
Recreation Centre The Aston University Recreation Centre in Great Barr, which provides grass pitches for hire and a floodlit all-weather pitch. The centre also has function rooms and break out areas for public hire.

Library and Cultural Activities

Library The Library and Learning Services provides contemporary resources and skills support for work and life. There is also differing study spaces available in the Library Building and Main Building.
Aston University Archives The Aston University Archives house materials related to the history of Aston University and its forerunner institutions, the Birmingham Municipal Technical School and the Birmingham Central Technical College. The records start from 1893 and trace the evolution of the University up until today.
Clubs and Societies There are over 130 student-led clubs and societies through the Students' Union
