Our Learn programme is the first step on your journey to success. It’ll help you develop your ideas, give you insights from successful business leaders and engage in a range of events that will grow your enterprise skills and ambition.
Who is it for?
Each year we support over 2,000 Aston students, as well as graduates and members of staff. Our Learn programme is for anyone interested in freelancing, starting their own business or people who want to improve their career chances by gaining new skills.
What we offer
We’ve got a range of interactive workshops, masterclasses and networking opportunities offering practical, skills-based support on everything from creating ideas to starting a social media channel:
- Founders First Steps – Develop your business ideas in our creative ideas lab, learn how to start a freelancing career, or how to fund your startup in our series of interactive workshops.
- Aston Founder Keynotes – Learn from our honest and inspirational Aston graduate founders in our business focused, two-way Q&A events.
- Start-Up Stories – Listen to business leaders from a range of exciting industries as they tell their business journeys in interactive discussions.
- Entrepreneurship Meet-Ups – Join a like-minded community of entrepreneurs and share your ideas at our monthly, informal networking events.
- Online Lunch and Learn – Learn from successful entrepreneurs at our weekly bite-sized lunch sessions.
