January 2026 exchange students for teaching period 2 / semester 2

Aston University still has rooms available for January 2026 to June 2026.

Students will be accommodated in 5 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the William Murdoch building (Please see 3D walkthrough) or 7 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the James Watt building (3D walkthrough) on campus. 

Reduced Price - 20% OFF - Single Semester rooms from £157.20 for shared ensuite room in 7 bed flat or £161.64 for 5 bed flat

September 2026 exchange students for teaching period 1 / semester 1

Aston University guarantees campus accommodation to the first 25 Exchange student Teaching Period 1 applicants, beginning in September 2026, providing they fulfil the criteria set out below:

• They apply to Aston University as a part year exchange student for the 1st semester (September 2026 to January 2027)
• Aston University has confirmed their application and the applicant firmly accepts their place
• They have applied for accommodation through the online portal

Exchange applicants may choose an 18 week (September to January) Tenancy Agreement only. Further details and Tenancy Conditions can be found on the Unite Students website.

Students will be accommodated in either 5 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the William Murdoch building. Please see 3D walkthrough.

September 2026 exchange (full academic year)

Aston University guarantees campus accommodation to the first 40 Exchange student full year (3 terms) applicants, beginning in September 2026, providing they fulfil the criteria set out below:

• They apply to Aston University as a part year exchange student for the full year (September 2026 to July 2027)
• Aston University has confirmed their application and the applicant firmly accepts their place
• They have applied for accommodation through the online portal as a full year undergraduate

Applications open now. Exchange applicants may choose an 44 week (September to July) Tenancy Agreement only. Further details and Tenancy Conditions can be found on the Unite Students website.

Students can choose on application between 5 bedroom ensuite and 7 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the William Murdoch building or James Watt building on campus.

January 2027 exchange students for teaching period 2 / semester 2

Aston University guarantees campus accommodation to the first 25 Exchange student Teaching Period 2 applicants, beginning in January 2027, providing they fulfil the criteria set out below:

• They apply to Aston University as a part year exchange student for the 2nd semester (January 2027 to July 2027)
• Aston University has confirmed their application and the applicant firmly accepts their place
• They have applied for accommodation through the online portal
• Exchange applicants may choose an 20 week (January to July) Tenancy Agreement only. Further details and Tenancy Conditions can be found on the Unite Students website.

Students will be accommodated in 5 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the William Murdoch building (Please see 3D walkthrough) or 7 bedroom ensuite shared flats in the James Watt building (3D walkthrough) on campus. 

Teaching period 2 accommodation will start 18th January, 2027. If you require an earlier start, please ask when booking for a temporary room to cover you until 18th January.
